Baird Bay is a small fishing village north of Elliston which offers that little extra for those seeking seclusion for bushwalking, bird watching, camping and fishing.
The entrance to the 3800 hectare long and narrow bay is protected by Jones Island and limestone reefs. The narrow waterway in front of the settlement is known as the channel. These remote water are excellent for recreational fishing and water based activities.
Baird Bay is teeming with marine life and you can experience a unique opportunity to swim with sea lions and dolphins with Ocean Eco Experience, a company established and in operation since 1992.
Sea lion and dolphin swims are conducted on the one tour for the one price. Wetsuit, mask and snorkel provided in tour cost.
