PUBLIC CONSULTATION

PLEASE NOTE: A public meeting to discuss the concept design proposal will be held on
Monday 6 February 2023 at 6.00pm at the Elliston Golf Club

Concept Design Proposal – RSL Building and Precinct – 34 Beach Terrace Elliston

Council has prepared a concept design proposal for the RSL Building and surrounding parklands.

The proposal incorporates:

• Installing a kitchen and toilet inside the building
• Removal of the existing store, kitchen and toilet and replacing with a covered verandah area overlooking the Wetlands
• Removal of the access road and reinstatement as parkland
• Installation of car parking sites off Beach Terrace
• Replacement of the existing rotunda with a high quality structure which will also house plaques of the Australia Day Award winners
• Upgrading of infrastructure around the building

PLEASE NOTE

This concept design is a proposal only and no decision has been made on this proposal or the future use of the RSL Building.

Council invites you to provide feedback on the proposal and your suggestions on how this precinct area can be improved.

Public Consultation closes on Friday 10 February 2023.
